Rainbow and the sun

-Roko Zaper

NOTES: This storybook was inspired by a documentary on the life of a Polish nobleman, Sebastián Berzeviczy, the alleged blood relative of Andre Benesz. My story follows Andre as he is told the tale of his relative by a mysterious old man. It is however just part of the story, as many years later Sebastián's daughter and her husband were hunted and murdered by Spanish spies. Only their son survived. With this as background, I wanted to examine our contemporary amnesia for the sacrifices and love that made our lives possible. "After dinner Sebastián wandered among the trees where a strange

bird alerted him to the presence of two people talking in the shadows.

He recognized the voice of the Sun King. The other person received

what seemed like important instructions and disappeared into the

bushes. Sebastián decided to follow him."
