NOTES: This short comic was made for the theme You+Me=Us and it potrays a short but important meeting on an empty football pitch in Australia. A lone magpie watches on and becomes part of the transcending moment in the which the pure joys of movement and interaction with others become all defining. As the next World Cup in South Africa approaches it is worthwhile remembering that such moments belong to everyone and always have. It is has just taken governing bodies so long to accept it and to try to package it for mass consumption.
